Some phine call was not a good phone call but sitel would give there empyees the tools to make it a better phone call.
Sitel is the best job i have ever had. Pros they appreciateed there emplyees grate traing and allways willing to help when needed. Cons some time when we had to give cx bad news we got not nices words that come with the job. We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best! It was good bc I got to sit down on a job for once but coaches were there to help u not make u feel stupid. So I left. Leaders are always willing to help, the job is stressful when the customers are more stressed, Typically flexible scheduled and when needing days off for personal reasons usually accommodating. A normal day at Sitel, is like going to your Computer and talking with people all around the world. Literally, you take calls, but you're not cold calling people. You're there to make sure that their problem gets solved.

When I first started sitel I loved it, I could see myself with a career there, but it began to go down hill very fast. The job itself is not stressful, but it is the amount of people they cram into a building, it almost feels like high school again, and not a work environment. Cons Overstaffed, stressful. The Sitel I was employed with handled customer care for Best Buy stores. We did tech support, and if that was unable to resolve the issue made appointments for in home visits with GeekSquad to resolve the issue. The job itself was not bad at at all, however the nature of the job could become abrasive quickly. People only called us because a product they purchased failed to operate as it should, so naturally most of your customer base would be upset.
However sometimes the retail locations would escalate the issue, causing people to call to us and immediately threaten the agents for not being able to fix their problem. It was difficult to keep count of how many times you were yelled at on a daily basis. Other than that, communication between corporate contractor and call center was terrible.
They would often refrain from sharing critical information with us. This would sometimes strain management at the sites because they did not have the proper information to assist the agents on a call. As an example, Windows 8 was rolled out while I was employed with the company and for a solid month the agents nor management had any sort of training on the product, all the while confused customers calling in wondering how to operate the new operating system. Upper management was very poor, and even took all of the team managers in front of two hundred agents and screamed at them for building a cue.
I would not go back to this place of employment if I had to. Pros Hour lunches, great benefits , great opportunity for overtime. Cons Terrible support, bad communication between contractor and site. Customers are stressful, not much feedback on job performance on a regular basis and pay was lacking when I was an employee there.
