Where is the schoolhouse in fallout new vegas

The strategy guide references the exact location of the cemetary but says nothing of the schoolhouse location other than "check by the tree stump". I've kind of been wandering around searching but no luck. So if someone could tell me how to get there from the cemetary or even a nearby noticibly landmark that would be great. Also, maybe its incredibly unlucky on my part but has anyone else encountered like 4 radscorpions 2 biggun's and two little one at one time so early in the game?

You actually have a choice here. You can either pick the safe's lock, which is difficult to do, or you can simply hack the computer on the counter to open the safe, which is far easier.
